My name is Alicia Segal, and I’m your new Texas-based interior designer with an eye (and a passion!) for timeless, classic design.
Adesse Designs creates timeless, classic designs in both commercial and residential projects in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. From managing every aspect of a new build to putting the finishing touches on an interior refresh, we pride ourselves on superior design and professional execution.

Alicia Segal, Principal & Lead Designer
Alicia Segal began her career directly out of college over 20 years ago with an amazing opportunity. She joined forces with a talented hospitality designer who was in the midst of designing/installing for a top notch local cancer center. Alicia quickly got her feet wet by taking very detailed direction from her senior. The detail in this type of facility went way beyond just making things pretty but with her emerging talent she was able to complete this project with great success.
Once versed in hospitality, Segal turned her focus to a much more loosely interpreted aspect of design. As a top producer at Dillard's Custom Designs, she created custom designed spaces sourcing furniture and accessories from high end vendors. Another design aspect that Segal excelled in involved anything with fabric. With this experience textiles became her passion and continues to be a large focus on all of her projects.
In the late 90's with the custom home building boom in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, Segal couldn't help but get excited about working on projects from architecture phase to final drapery installation. She quickly gained the respect of local builders and directly contributed to many lucrative sales by creating speculative homes that never sat and few made it to final completion without a contract. Segal prides herself in working with client and tradesman in a fashion that makes the process easy for all parties.
With the downturn in the economy, custom home building became a thing of the past. Segal adjusted her focus to interior furnishings. With religious visits to the largest furniture market in the world, High Point, she proves to be an expert source on furnishings and accessories. According to Segal, "High Point market remains a priceless experience each and every time I visit. The top vendors really put on a show and help keep my pulse to the market".
Today, Segal enjoys every aspect of design. Many clients have resurfaced needing updated spaces from the spaces designed almost 10 years ago. And with the upswing in the building industry you can find her designing intricate tile applications, specifying any number of great lighting sources or following her true passion of pulling fabrics.
Juline Smith, Designer & Project Manager
Juline Smith started her design career after graduating from college with her degree in interior design. She is passionate about creating environments that connect with people.
With over 15 years of experience in interior design and project management, she especially thrives on the challenge of transforming a dull environment into a space that impacts clients and enhances their daily lives.
Fun Facts About Juline:
She was originally studying to be a reconstructive plastic surgeon. Working with a life coach, she later discovered what she was really passionate about was the excitement of creating transformation.
She is often referred to by friends and family as a prankster with a spunky personality.
She is a girly girl– but is a boy mom with three sons!
